While I was growing up you could always find me either in my fathers’ workshop or the outdoors. I have always had an affinity for working with my hands but never had confidence until I spent two years building cabinets in Virginia. From there I went to school to learn computer aided design and worked as a technician for an engineering company. I felt I wanted to have more of a say in the direction projects were going while also being creative. I thought the marriage of the outdoors and creating things in the outdoor product design was perfect for me. I am particularly interested in creating sleek and modern feeling products mirroring some of my favorite furniture designers and architects. I am a true believer that form follows function but can also contain beauty. I love being a part of a team and solving problems by working it out. I spend my weekends fly-fishing, skiing, hiking, riding my bike, taking pictures and hanging with cat, Willy.
